Visitation
Visitations offer a time to gather and for others to express condolences in a safe place where it’s ok to cry. We hold visitations in the funeral home or other controlled environment so the family is spared from having hundreds of sensitive conversations in public spaces where emotional conversations might be difficult.
Memorial Service
A funeral or memorial service at our location can be as traditional or non-traditional as the family would like. Most families honor their loved one through some type of ceremony or ritual — this is a natural need and the opportunity for the family to do one last thing for their loved one. The service can involve a minister or celebrant, music, videos, pictures — and can take place anywhere from a chapel or church to an outdoor venue.
Graveside Service
The committal service takes place at the site of disposition (cemetery, mausoleum, columbarium, etc). The purpose of the committal service is for family and friends to walk with their loved one to their final resting place — and to do it in a way that respects and honors the life they lived. This is often seen as an opportunity for healing along the grief journey, which is unique to everyone. When family and friends visit in years to come, they can remember the committal site for the honor and respect paid to their loved one.
Grief Resources
Whether you need help connecting with community grief groups or want to speak with our compassionate team of experts, we want to continue to help you adjust to your loss even after the service is over.
